The POG has some catching up to do with the XAU. Historically it seems that spikes in lease rates are followed by a spike in POG at some point.

The problem with trying to play short term in gold at this point is that it can have long periods of inactivity and weak action followed by big spikes. It may not go up most days but the ones that it does should more than make up for it imo.
