AD,

When you are referring to APS's, I presume you mean the output at the likes of TXN and MOT, not AMAT or the equipment sector. It's inevitable that growth in the sector will slow simply bc of the Law of Large Numbers. However, as IC penetration widens across everyday products, these cos will be cash generating machines for years to come, although at a slightly lower growth rate.

ST trading:

We're now testing the 4/18 gap-up, in the SOX and a lot of stocks. FWIW, I went long NVLS today, at 48.5. That is either going to be very smart (when we bounce right here), or really dumb, (as we sink back down to the old trading range. Even if we do go lower, I'd expect we retest 48 on NVLS (and the tops of the old trading ranges on all the other semi-equips), before heading on down.
