6 million Jews died in the Holocaust... But there were 11 million alleged total victims of this organized extermination. Many of those remaining 5 million were non-Jewish Poles, Christian and Catholic. Hence, the reason the current Pope is a Pole, based upon his actions under Nazi oppression""

Hello Hawk, I wonder where your post belongs!!
Food for your thoughts:

"Thanks to Hitler, of blessed memory, who on behalf of the Palestinians. revenged in advance against the most vile criminals of the face of the earth. Although we do have a complaint against him for his revenge on them was not enough"

- Ale--Akhabr, Egyptians government-sponsored news paper, April 18,2001

"It is true, the number of was less than six million and Israel is using this issue to get sympathy world wide"

-Ikrema Sabri, Palestinian-appointed Mufti of Jerusalem,
Assocaited Press, March25,2000

Zioinist created the Holocasut myth to blackmail and terrorize the world's intellectuals and politicians"

-Tishreen, Syrian government news paper, January 31, 2000

"If Auschwitz had been an extermination camp for Jews, virtually no Jews would have survived...Professional survivors such as Eli Wiesel, who present themselves as witnesses to the "holocaust" ar in fact living proof that the alleged extermination of the Jews did not take place."
-Tehran Times, February 19,2001

Denying, trivializing or even lauding the Nazi extermination of 6 million Jews, including 1.5 million children, is vrey much alive today in the Middle East. Does this grotesque distoration of history helps to build foudnation of mutual respect and peace so disperately needed by the people of the region? Tragically, the answer speak for itself.

"They (Isrealis and Jews) try to kill all the principles of the divine faiths with the same mentalityof betrying Jesus Christ and torutuing Him, and inthe same way they tried to commit treachery against profit Mohamed..."
-Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's speech during the Pope John Paul II visit to Damascus, May 8,2001.

"We must be fully aware of what the enemies of God and malcious Zionism consipres against CHristianity and Islam..""
-Muhammad Ziyadah, Syria's Minister of Religious Affairs. The New York TIme, May 7, 2001.

Pope John Paul II, we were greatly saddened by you silence.

Terrorists fail in bid to blow up passenger train
By David Rudge

jpost.com

HAIFA (May 17) - Terrorists tried to blow up a passenger train on the Haifa-Tel Aviv line yesterday afternoon, slightly damaging an engine, but causing no casualties. It was believed to be the first such attack in the history of the state.

A bomb had been planted on the track south of Kibbutz Ma'agan Michael and exploded as the train, with engines at the front and rear went past.

The bomb was detonated as the last coach and rear engine had gone by, blowing out the engine's rear lights, but causing no serious damage.

All traffic on the line was stopped as police sappers combed the area for other bombs. The track was then examined for damage.

"This was an attempt to blow up or derail a train full of passengers," Northern Region police spokesman Ch.-Supt. Boaz Goldberg said. "There is no doubt that if this had succeeded, there would have been a major disaster."

Railway officials said that the engineer, who was in the front engine, staff, and passengers had not heard or felt the explosion and that the train had continued on its way to Binyamina and on to Tel Aviv and Beersheba.

Israel Railways director-general Amos Uzani said security measures had been boosted and that staff was working in close cooperation with the security forces.

He noted that regular checks are made of the lines, in addition to security measures at stations and aboard passenger and freight trains, as well as other steps which could not be disclosed.

The explosion occurred around 4:30 p.m. just north of Jizr e-Zarka, the scene of a fatal stone-throwing attack during widespread riots by Israeli Arabs last October.

A Ma'agan Michael resident who heard an explosion called the police.

A large force of police went to the scene and discovered signs of an explosion. At first it was thought that there was another bomb in the area, but objects found turned out to be the remains of the exploded bomb.

Northern District police chief Cmdr. Alik Ron said that despite the inconvenience to passengers, it was imperative to comb the area and make sure there were no further bombs before rail service could be resumed.

Passenger service on the line was resumed at 7:30.
