Are there any shares of GENI available to short? I haven't checked but I'd be really surprised.

GENI is essentially a private company, the float is only 7% of the outstanding shares. Put another way, the total float is only valued at $22M even at the current fantasy price.

About 70% of the company is owned by two individuals, at least one of whom (Kashoggi) has a criminal record.

I saw some of their kiosks in a mall in Santa Monica last week, and I agree this seems to be a total POS dot-com business model. But IMO trying to play GENI is like playing poker with Tony Soprano.

John Lacelle - Re: GENI

on April 28 I posted this opinion on GENI
Message 15730242

At that time GENI was 11.96
Now they are 14.50

I still feel the same way.
I think this total pos scam is heading higher.
Shares are next to impossible to find to short.
Make sure you make your first entry count, you might not be able to find more shares later to average up.

I am monitoring GENI closely.
When it drops 20-25% of the highs, I will be looking to short.
Until then, I am enjoying the entertainment.

Michail

BTW, either later today or tomorrow I will profile another total pos that looks like a major scam.
I think this one will be a much better substitute to GENI.
