knight8z: Don Hays (of the Hays Investment Advisory) is one of the most astute old-timers as far as predicting what the market will do. He has a bearish bias over the next two years but has a short-term bullish bias due to the Fed interest rate cuts and massive increase in liquidity.

I think a winning strategy might be to anticipate the usual sell-off during earnings warning season in June, with a real summer rally from July through October or November. When companies continue to report miserable earnings and Wall St. realizes that the economy has fundamental problems that the Fed and AG cannot solve, the market will once again have a decidedly bearish bias (according to Hays).
