Exactly my method as well. Thanks for bringing it up. I don't think it has ever been discussed on this thread. I read some of your posts on the dream thread and would like to invite you to stop by more often and lend us some of your knowledge.

You can track them by going to the individual sites (whois etc.) but I find it not worth the time and trouble. Most scans are ad programs and links to sites that are persistent about not letting go of your ip address and I also get many per day from my ISP pinging to make sure you are still connected ok (roadrunner)...harmless.
