Excerpt from FN April 26 news wire. As a major shareholder do you think they have a little taste already of the last ten assays and the soon to be released study? :

""Although Harquail ruled out boosting Franco's position in Normandy any time soon, the company has made no secret that, with almost C$1 billion ($640 million) in its war chest, it will be looking aggressively at acquisitions this year.``We have a lot of cash to dispense. We've got smaller deals that we will probably do sooner before we do our next Normandy-sized transaction, which we hope to do this year, but the smaller deals will be more immediate,'' Harquail said.""

The price for MR has too be well north of this. Noranda owes them US 10 million cash by '05. That's 56 cents a share/CDN just for that, plus the remaining exploration ride which by my calc is about US$8 million (45 cents/share). Then there's cash on hand already (14 cents) so we are at a buck 1 and an change before even valuing a 30% stake in a world class discovery (91% carried)and 50% of Cerro San Pedro. Perfect setup for an FN royalty deal with Noranda.

I think FN will try and move quickly on this, cause the price is just going to keep going higher as Noranda moves this one along or gold/copper takes off. Of course if the sellers in this excuse for a market keep giving stock away to them, that's a time schedule offset, but I think FN's hand has been shown. Just the same if any one in our tiny little universe is reading this, see where this opens Monday. Under 70, come on, no way?
