<<Here in LA we have had no blackouts yet. Just so everyone else doesn't imagine us all sitting here in the dark.
Most blackouts hit those companies who dealt for lower prices in exchange for involuntary shut-offs. So far anyway.>>

I know I'm a day late in responding to this, but AS. . . this is completely wrong. Us LA DWP folks will not have blackouts, it's true. But in Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Culver City, Redondo Beach and most of the communities around what's actually Los Angeles City, there have been blackouts aplenty. Furthermore, they are rolling and random, not targeting companies who do anything. I know this for one reason cuz my wife's offices lost power last week -- she's in film production, certainly not a business that dealt for lower prices, as they can never afford downtime. Also, anyone who has had their RESIDENCE shut down or their ice cream store or or or or will further attest that the blackouts are rolling, random, and really annoying.

Get your facts right, or you give us Angelenos (non-native here) a bad name.
