Dell are not offering 1 GHz in a soho notebook. Their ad says up to 1 GHz but when you try and configure it 900 MHz is the fastest. I guess it is the p3 supply shortage.

TWY, I configured an Inspiron 8000 w/ 1ghz processor, 129meg, 20g hd, dvd, ethernet+modem, $2686, but maybe a $150 rebate and a little bigger screen.
