oh dear
Poor Tom.
In a diverse world it is bound to bring pain to have a philosophy like that. Why does Tom want a philosophy built on the belief that people are fundamentally wicked? People are fundamentally people. Wickedness is something people make up (or so it seems to me) - and that they make up depending upon where they are born and what they have been taught. So I suppose you could say people are fundamentally disposed to see certain things as wicked, and a few people, in all parts of the world, in all ages, see beyond that. Tom probably won't ever get there. But that's ok. It's too bad he has a coalition, but all sorts of people who believe in what they believe absolutely have coalitions.
