Sc, meanwhile the rest of us get to subsidize Californians, while having no control over their habits. TO HELL WITH THAT!

My natural gas bill has a normal base amount, plus a "gas cost adjustment" charge that is equal to 200% of the base amount... This is all new since California started having serious problems.

They can't have their cake and eat it too! Otherwise, open up the Artic Wildlife Refuge!!

Bush will never talk about this, because his energy buddies would lose billions of dollars if he did.
He'd also be voted out of office in a NY minute at the next election and his successor would be somebody had sworn on his own life that he would reverse your eco-fanatic policies. So what's the point?

everyone drives to work one to a car
Damn right. Public transit is a bad joke. It's an excuse to waste billions on projects that accomplish nothing. Notice all the empty or nearly-empty buses and trains running around the valley? My tax dollars at work. I assume, being a good liberal, you don't make enough to actually have to pay taxes.

Solutions are: turning lights off.
I already do that.

Insulating houses.
Paid for with public money, no doubt. Who's going to pay the fortune this would require? You're probably talking several hundred billion.

Window fans at night instead of air-conditioning.
Right. Get lost. I need to have it cool to sleep at night. Is that OK?
I don't care whether it's OK with you ot not. I'm still going to do it. Next.

Turning off air-conditioners during the day.
At home? I already do that. At work? Get lost.

Car pooling
So I can get up every day an hour or two earlier to get to work? Get lost.

One way streets with synchronized light
Sounds like a traffic nightmare. Get lost.

A heavy dose of liberal social engineering. No way. I'll see you at the barricades. We'll be on opposite sides.
Get lost.
