As for smallish moral offenses, I'd say cheating on your wife

Good grief! I tried to be clear that I was offering some infractions that were relatively minor on the scale of what I label "immoral" as opposed to some other strain of wrong. Cheating on one's spouse is certainly mild compared with other potential violations of family trust, such as child molestation and fratricide. And job discrimination is relatively mild on the bigotry scale compared to, say, genocide. Let's keep things in proportion.

If anyone except CH got the impression that I'm condoning either cheating or discrimination, well, you need to read more carefully. I just finished arguing with Neo that there are no excuses for wrong behavior. So don't y'all go out and cheat on your spouses and then make the excuse that Karen said it was OK, because I didn't and it's not.
