Bill "Robin Hood" Murphy & "no new evidence" MerryMen.

Robin Hood was a thief, regardless of who Robin Hood robbed from. Your comparison between Robin Hood and Murphy may well be correct. So I agree with your opinion that Bill Murphy may be a crook. The Merry Men of GATA lack proof, and this will be shown in their preposterous lawsuit. The motives of GATA are still unclear. There is nothing to be gained.

Humorous GATA posts on Kitco by Fingerprint and someone else:

The biggest joke on Kitco is that GATA has that beautiful poster of Don Quixote on their site. You probably read the book so can remember that Alonso Quixano ( Bill Murphy ) read so much that he went out of his mind and imagines that he is really a knight. He changes his name to Don Quixote de la Mancha ( Midas du Metropole ) , puts on a suit of armour and sets out seeking adventure. Since he is practically blind, he convinces a working man, Sancho Panza ( Cris Powell or Reg Howe, take your pick ) to accompany him as his squire.

Since he is blind and has lost his sanity, he keeps attacking enemies who aren't enemies at all, just in his mind. He mistakes a windmill for a giant. ( go to GATA and see the windmill, it's ain't a giant, it's a windmill )

Anyone who wants to identify with GATA is also identifying with Don Quixote who was a blind fool. Sound familar?

------------------------------------------------------------

GATA praise singers are out in force we see. It's not enough that they are running around crying about the gold price, but now journalists and gold companies must take their evidence as indisputable, absolutely verifiable fact. It is not. It is all supposition.
I wish GATA the best of luck, but to blame the rest of the world for their inability to attract a sizeable audience ( let's not forget all the marketing, replete with Don Quixote theme... ) is just pathetic. It looks like they have shot their bolt once and for all. And for those whining mutts who want to blame the media, I would like you to show me just one other publication that has given as much time and space to GATA as Miningweb?"
Poor Reg Howe. He needs to get rid of the GATA clowns before he can be taken seriously. Do yourself a favour Reg and look for money from another source

the clowns referred to were veneroso, Turk, and Murphy
