Hey for every bit of energy saved by Californians the savings were wiped out not by polluters but by massive immigration into California. This has been s source of conflict for the liberal Sierra club. I just got my latest energy bill and it shows I cut back 50 % from last years usage(and my usage wasn't high last year). But so what more illegal immigrants flooded into California last month and they will need water and energy. So I don't run my air-conditioning but its of little value is it ?
An article yesterday in the Mercury News talked about subsidized housing and how it was helping this Mexican family. In the same article it stated how that poor family since coming to the US had produced 7 children. LOL
