<truly edible British foods>

This is an oxymoron.

I was just at Monterey Bay Aquarium. They have a restaurant where they list food to avoid at all cost, try to avoid, and environmentally safe to eat. All farmed fish and shrimp were at the top of fish to avoid, due to the fact that they swim in their own feces. Almost to the point of being toxic, in some cases.

Kind of sucked, since I stopped eating shrimp when I was in college (marine biology major). One pound of shrimp = 100 pounds of by-catch, on the conservative side of estimates.

It's very sad what is happening in our oceans. I'm sure Bush has it at the top of his priority list. Repubs in general can only think one, maybe two generations ahead. How sad.
