Dimples in Texas.

(1) at least two corners of the chad are detached;

(2) light is visible through the hole;

(3) an indentation on the chad from the stylus or other object is present and indicates a clearly ascertainable intent of the voter to vote; or

(4) the chad reflects by other means a clearly ascertainable intent of the voter to vote.

Okay, it says indentions and not dimples. I dunno the specifics of the Florida law, except that the intent of the voter must be clear. I brought up the Texas law because Windsock mentioned it in post #136875.

I do find it interesting that Bush signed an admendment to the election law that held manual recounts were more accurate than machine recounts and then changed his tune when it was convenient. But that is his history. All for private rights to land, except when he wants to put a ballpark on it. It is all about convenience, priviledge and power.
