We agree, Sharck. .50, 1-2 day rally then either down or neutral. I don't see us breaking recent highs or recent lows unless news comes out changing the picture. On one hand you have the gloom+doom scenario (energy prices, aftermath of dot-bombs, lay-offs, etc.) on the other hand the enormous Fed cuts, IBM saying things look fine, MSFT 2000 out in October to spur computer sales, GE kicking ass, EDS, PSFT and UIS saying things getting better and 4th quarter looks huge. Confusing? I suppose it really depends on where stock prices are right now. A little overbought or a little oversold?

I also watched an interesting show yesterday on how Generation Y are buying cell phones like hot cakes, 48 million US customers in that age range and half have them already and 90% are expected to within two years. That means stellar growth and benefits NOK and VZ especially, as well as the other players. Daddy will have to pay lotsa cell phone bills going forward.
