The impeachment was the seminal historic event of the Clinton era. It clearly illustrated: 1) That the corruption of the president was protected by a constant and coordinated campaign of lies by the First "Lady" and the White House staff. 2) That the Reno Justice Department was a farce. 3) That the left would engage in any and all abandonment of principle, reversal of opinion, or any political manipulation they could think of to hold their position of power. 4) That the press openly sided with the liberal/left politicians to protect the corrupt president from the justice that was due to him. 5) That the constitutional oath sworn by Democrats isn't worth the paper it's printed on. And that, as a result, it's absolutely no wonder the Democrats engaged in the massive, nationwide and barely-hidden voter fraud in the 2000 election, and only surprising that it fell a few hundred manufactured votes short. This legacy of the Clinton era belongs to the whole party. The stink will only grow more pervasive with the passage of time...
