JT, BOW doesn't seem to be doing much. Maybe the oil % gas / oilfield services story has matured. I noticed GAR issued good results in the papers today. I recall this being a new issue a few years ago, it never took off. It could be at a turnaround now.

Stock didnt do much today. I've noticed that for illiquid stocks, a bit of good news is a major opportunity for liquidity and a chance to get out, although not IMHO at a good price.

To all, has anyone noticed that 8003 has bottomed out? It is showing good volume now and up to .61 HK. That appears to be the only good news for TOM here.

JT, did you ever pick up any BOW. Takeover bid today.

stockhouse.ca

The sad thing about some of the takeovers going on is although the premium is high (relative to recent price), a lot of stocks have tanked, making the takeover price relatively modest in terms of 52 week highs. A lot of them occur at just above the 52 week lows.

Some bad news on WIN today.

With an impending campaign against terrorism, I think I'll wait for things to play out before nibbling. S&P still trading at about 24X earnings. I am surprised NASDAQ is not closer to 1000.
