The implication is that as a professional, the client is not as important a consideration as the right which is to be vindicated. If only "popular" or "nice" clients could obtain representation our democracy would be threatened.

You must be kidding! The very essence of our system of justice requires that every accused person be allowed the best counsel he or she can get. Anything less would be unworthy of our nation and a step back to the dark ages.
