Private Catholic school - $3500/year or thereabouts up through 12th grade.
Daycare for toddler - $1500/month.

Yow!

Everything starts at the top. Heck, look at all those CEO salaries, bonuses and options that go up even when their shareholder equity plummets. Who signed a contract for $250million? A baseball player or a Nobel Prize winning genius?

Hard to put all the fault on the bottom 1% when the top 1% acts like it does. (What did the Prez do in the Oval Office and what first daughter is drinking underage?)

Enough good and bad to go around for everyone.
