Ted, to the ideological opponents of tax cuts it is never a good time to cut taxes but the exact reason changes. To some of the some of the ideological supporters of tax cuts (including GW) its never a bad time for tax cuts but the reason changes. Tim, wanting tax cuts because you believe there should be limited gov't spending is an idealogy, opposing tax cuts because there may not be sufficient funds is not. Personally I am for tax cuts not specifically to stimulate the economy but because I think taxes should be low. And you probably will think that way til you die but probably won't get what you want...at least not on a national level...and that's fortunate. The result probably would be not too dissimilar to the current energy chaos in CA. It seems that a shortage of anything makes humans go nuts. ted
