I won't argue much with you on your particular picks. They've come down a long ways and sport much more reasonable P/E's than they did 1 year ago. They will likely have limited downside and you won't find me shorting them at the moment. However, I also see little evidence of improved future growth for them and certainly won't be going long in this economic environment. Not until I see improvement and we're at least a few quarters out from that. And of the latter 4...3 of them don't earn a dime, and PALM is not overvalued at P/E of 88? LOR has no cash, negative earnings, declining revenues, and is over a billion in the hole. Not much in the other 2 to impress me yet. Why should I go long? The reason they are at their lows is that they belong there. There is no value to price in. As for the FED, you should read my post to Onedodd.

Also, I would hardly call a steep drop-off in sales over just a few months from full speed ahead to almost nothing a correctional aberration. Call a spade a spade...there's something wrong here.
