Tippet. FNM has been consistantly stubborn.
How many thirds are there. If one did this in Jan, March, and now May (one would be in the 3rd 3rd.

Of course if one did leaps at the beginning of the year one would be considerably down but not nearly as much as losing it all twice.

I keep looking at FNM and saying it will test the low sometime before Jan 2003. That is a tripple. If it does it sooner rather than later this is a 5 bagger I believe.
In this case all that matters is eventually. Now, if you buy 15 points out and it takes forever to fall, yes you will not make much. But if you buy strike 80;s 2003 right now and it tests the low ANY time before Jan 2003, you have a big big winner.

Joan, Patron, or anyone else out there have a feel for this?

M

<OTW, you are just paying too much for premium, IMO. The leverage just isn't there ... >

I hear you saying that the LEAPS are overvalued relative to the shorter term options??? Seems highly unlikely in such an "indexed" product like FNM?
