We'll see how long that lasts.


I imagine prices for mobile Athlon's will have to come down as Intel responds with its own price cuts, but I don't think that Intel is going to want to cut prices and margins on its mobile chips enough to keep the introduction of mobile Athlon's from increaseing AMD's overall margins. I think (and hope) that Intel cares more about making money selling mobile chips then it cares about blowing up its margins defending every % of market share.
