Paul,

Funny - Dell is growing market share - and AMD's customers are losing market share.

Funny, Dell is gaining share in segments where AMD does not compete. Could this mean that Intel vs. AMD is irrelevant here?

How about discussing something relevant: AMD vs. Intel market share?

Joe

Could this have anything to do with Intel charging everybody else twice as much as Dell for the same processors?

RE:"Funny - Dell is growing market share - and AMD's customers are losing market share"

last Q AMDs saher went from 16.8% to 21.2%...that's WHILE LOSING ALL THE NOTEBOOK MARKET. What's going to happen when AMD gains some of that notebook share back?
You said, AMD will never gain 30% of the market.
Unfortunately it will take an Intel bloodbath to prevent that. IMHO...
