Petz,

The Sony Vaio notebook with mobile Duron seems like an excellent notebook, and a very good deal. I was helping someone find a notebook in this price range just last fall, and all I could find were Celerons and K6-2+, with fewer features (such as the network card, IEEE-1394, DVD) much slower speed, less memory, and for more money. I know this is the case all the time, but it seems more of a leap in what you can get for $1,550.
