Morning Clappy I've never seen the "fourth of july" variety out here - guess it wouldn't make it. But 42 days is really fast. Wow! I bought two varieties so far Early Cascade - matures in 55 days which I'll plant in a tub and stake, and Tumbler which is a container variety purportedly excellect for hanging baskets. We'll see. People do harvest tomatoes on the coast but they really have to baby sit them - a green house would be ideal. That's an idea. Hmmmmmm, wonder what he's got planned for the day? rose
