Gotta be a 50 tom.. I think at this point Greenspan has no choice but to serve the market exactly what it wants/expects.. Cant afford any surprised shattering confidence or backfiring if hes too generous with 75...

I dont envy him and the gang right now thats for sure..

The FED was too aggressive in raising rates last year to "fight inflation" that didn't exist. Now it will reverse course and be continue to be aggressive to cut rates. Too much pressure to reserve the mistakes from last year.

50 bp cut = rally that fades in a couple to three days.

PS: 4 weeks away from pre-announcements for 2nd Q earnings.
