The ninth slide during this presentation indicates that Verizon will go with 1xrtt and then can either go with HDR or W-CDMA. If W-CDMA rolls-out at on the same time schedule as HDR, I dont really think we have much to worry about....if Verizon were to try and wait for W-CDMA, it would be a pretty big blow.

slacker I can't for the life of me understand the Korean situation. Capping the market share permanently may be OK in the future, but not now. SKT is their premier operator and should be using them to demonstrate 1X. I can fathom letting others into the party only after the good of their new system has been proven. They can make it up to the others at a later date in different ways.
