Found an interesting tid bit this morning as I was cleaning out my folders on my computer. One was a set of trading rules. In it, it had as one of the rules, never short a dull market in an uptrending market, never go long a dull market in a downtrending market.

All these years I thought the rule was only, never short a dull market. Guess that is what happens when we are so used to a bull market. -ggg-

The rest of the rules seemed standard so I assume that is a good rule. Of course then we have to decide, do we use the long term trend which is still down or the short term trend which was last up? -g-

Good Luck,

Lee
