When soccer has competition, it always loses. The most popular sport in Central America and Japan is now baseball. The most popular sport in France is cycling. Australian football dwarfs soccer in Australia and New Zealand. Basketball is king in Yugoslavia. Hockey rules Canada, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia.
