You're wrong. I tuned in periodically during the day. First they only had 500 to sell and couldn't get more,

They sold most of those and suddenly they only had 600 to sell and couldn't get more,

They sold most of those and then they announced they only had 800 to sell and couldn't get more,

They sold most of those and then they announced they only had 1,000 to sell and couldn't get more,

That was the last point at which I listened, but they had at least 1,000.

Now compare that to Intel's deluge of PIII 1.13GHZ chips at their grand launch. The numbers on the recall showed that they sold 200 units during the entire first month their new chip was out. AMD sold 1,000 palaminos the day before it was even officially released.
