I installed the "shutdown" patch a couple of days ago, and everything is fine so far. I'll wait about a month to decide if the shutdown problem is solved, and then I'll report back.

I've had many sites freeze up my browser so I can't do anything, but never like this, where everything functions except the ability to call up another Web page. I've had many sites ruin the ability to call up another Web page permanently, basically messing up Netscape, so that I have to shut down Netscape and restart it, or even reboot the computer. I did try IE, and got the same effect. I wasn't really asking a question, because, like you said, it is a problem with that site, not with my computer. It's just weird.
