ARM dominates the low power, low performance, integer only embedded market.

MIPS dominates the marketplace for applications that require floating point.

Erm ... not to mention MCS-96 (engine control, ABS, etc.)and CAN (Car Area Network) derivatives from Intel ... MCS-51, MCS-96, i960 solutions across the breadth of non-reprogrammable embedded applications (all Intel solutions).
