Thanks for the links. Good reading...

It reminds me of how much the human concept of "explanation" is tied up into counterfactuals and interference in the causal chain, which is in turn based on analogies of bodily experience and action. These anthrocentric concepts probably don't apply well to things like "the universe" (or "God", if you will).
