peter, andreas & other Europeans - Can you guys comment on whether you've seen any reduction in Athlon/Duron at retail stores? In the US, I have to admit that more shelf space is being given to Intel than was true a couple months ago. Petz

I believe that we are seeing the results of some very strong marketing efforts by Intel. Intel cannot afford to have another quarter where they have to report shrinking sales while AMD's sales are growing. So I think Intel is doing EVERYTHING to move its inventory.< I know that vendors buy shelf space at grocery stores. For example, Wise pays our local grocer $100/month for their shelf space. Could it be that Intel is buying shelf space at outlets such as Best Buy?
