peter, andreas & other Europeans - Can you guys comment on whether you've seen any reduction in Athlon/Duron at retail stores? In the US, I have to admit that more shelf space is being given to Intel than was true a couple months ago.

Intel *cannot* afford to have another quarter where they have to report shrinking sales while AMD's sales are growing. So I think Intel is doing EVERYTHING to move its inventory.<

I know that vendors buy shelf space at grocery stores. For example, Wise pays our local grocer $100/month for their shelf space. Could it be that Intel is buying shelf space at outlets such as Best Buy?
