frank btw, i wanted to say that i found this comment of yours... "this sp2 from ms as cured every ill I've suffered with this new box I bought at the beginning of the year" ... to be quite inspiring. <g3> i downloaded sp2 last night (their servers must be near capacity as the 100mb file took me almost an hour with cable modem), and i'm holding off on installing it until i do some basic system maintenance first. but i'm excited about the prospects, especially given your remarks. only thing is, i'm not having major probs with win2000pro, so i may not notice vast improvements! :) mark
