Heartbeats are a big problem, heat distortion, wind-- pretty much everything is a problem from that distance. How a guy can shoot anything from 2500 yards is quite beyond me. I have taken shots offhanded, halftwisted toward my right, with my heart beating with such force it seemed gallons of blood was pumping through me at a beat. Gun sights all over the place. I could see it move with every pulse. Even a fifty yard shot like that is tough. I think it was just last year I had to take a shot in similar conditions. I quickly calmed down and got the job done. Taking a deep breath and then holding it worked for me.
