That one a couple of years ago in Quebec > that ice storm wasn't just Quebec,believe me--it Devastated the state of Maine(some places went 6-weeks without power)--3 days into it i got rid of my old generator and put in a Northern Lights with a diesel tank hooked up so it could run continuously for 3-weeks if need be.
Cost,11,000 dollars inclusive of all installation costs.Was a tax write-off because it was purchased during a fed declared emergency.
I have located in the garage away from earshot,but these suckers make noise,a lot of noise,and if you don't vent well you will die fast from it's exhaust.
I want very much to get a hands on test of HPOW residential unit to see how they work.max
