Skeeter

funny how egos filter what is obvious and makes the obvious impossible to see and the utterly insane all too obvious.

Humans are imperfect subjective beings, prone to letting feelings get in the way of rational decisions. Somedays, when I get really depressed, I think a machine or a set of mathematical equations should do my investing for me. <g>

A few yrs ago, I did learn the hard way that no matter how much I like a stock, an absolute stop loss position will get me out of trouble. It took a couple of expensive lessons. Or three, or four. (Maybe five) (What the heck, it was eight!) But if someone as naive as me can eventually figure it out, eventually, the bright people on this thread can too.

Don't even waste your time with trying to discuss or argue anything with wstera........you hit the nail on the head about the ego thing.......he seems to think throwing his impressive resume out at everyone means he is correct 100% of the time. There is no winning with this guy as his ego wont allow it. He knows everything about everybody and is never wrong...simple as that. His assesement on me, rmbs, jaromir jagr and etc, etc, is always 100% correct....In fact, I dont think he has ever been wrong...or at least admitted being wrong anyway <ggg>
