If our manufacturing base shrinks any more we will be history -- if we depend too heavily on other nations for our food we will be history, IMO.

mark, think this through. the electric company execs found a way to jack up "maintenance" time by a factor of 4 to limit supply b/c they "could" - collusion has not been proved yet.

this country is nuts if we put our food supply in the hands of foreigners. they will act in their self interest and we will cry "daddy" just like we are crying "daddy" to the electric execs now. except it will be much worse and getting rich will not be our food suppliers' only agenda.
