Dale, I agree with your assessment. But I think we'll see a flatline tomorrow until 2:15, then who knows. 50 bp is given and priced in. I'd be very surprised if the cut is anything but 50. Street will be watching the accompanying language for a clue of future Fed direction. My guess is the language won't be as decisive and forceful toward an easing bias. The Fed can't set investors up for disappointment in June, particularly the next FOMC meeting falls into the warnings season and markets probably will be in a lousy mood.
