Up until 50, 75 years ago that was the job of the Constitution. Now our ruling classes ignore it and there's no practical limit to the power and scope of the Fed. Govmt.

So your right. Every election decides the course the country is going to take because whoever's in power can do pretty much as they please. And people wonder why politics have gotten so dirty and intense.

Only citizens can limit government.
