To All, For the income and safety conscious, take a look at the 5 year chart for sphix on SI charts. Vanguard's junker is just as bad. True, this chart does not include dividends, which are large. But, still, pretty ugly. I just studied the junk group at work today and came away feeling queasy. If someone were to tell me that they were washed out and due some upside, I wouldn't argue real hard. But I would have a hard time sitting through the last five years wondering when these dogs would hit the ground and have a dead bowwow trampolinization. <g>
