It seems like only yesterday it was Dow 16,000. Now that's inflation. <gg>

Hi GZ

T minus 7 hours and counting all systems GO.

If a 1/2 point rate cut occurs at the FOMC meeting ( as futures suggest ) , we'll be 3/4 of a percent lower than the low of 99/00 cycle. These rate reduction have all been a 1/2 and they have been back to back (compressed in a shorter time period) than ever before.

I'm a believer in these moves having a lag ( 6- 12 months ). It must be noted that it has already been 5 months since the first rate reduction.

If it is always darkest before dawn - then it is about as low as we go right in here somewhere.

The rate reductions have reduced my floorplan costs by 25-30 %. My selloff of inventory has been accomplished and I am aggressively reordering the last of 01 product. The biggest fear is GM will not gear up and produce 01's (which will have better incentives). So from my perspective when the turn comes it will come quickly and the buzz words will be: " What correction?? - TO DA MOON BABY.

It is incredible how short investors memories are. I believe it is safe to count on this - as greed erases most memory cells. gggg
