Glenn - thanks for the info. I can only imagine that if you continue to develop your rep for fair and honest sales on eBay, you'll do way better than the shills in the long run - way, way, better.

Tom,

Good customer relations along with fair and honest marketing always works. I am not concerned about doing well in the sense of making sales. Capacity constraints could become an issue since I am doing those fulfillment tasks that I have always mentioned would be a problem for Amazon.
I still believe I am correct that the cost of fulfillment is Amazon's largest problem. That will the case with me too. Amazon has not done it wrong. One needs more margins to make money with fulfillment too.

Not related to anything specific, I am still trying to figure out why the typical Ebay customer is so polite compared to retail customers in general. There are always exceptions but this is an accurate generalization. I wonder if it is the patience to look through the auctions and wait until the auction end except for the buy it now option. Anyhow, the Ebay customer is value oriented but with a definite slant to want great service and in return is extremely understanding.
