I've gotten support on a 6 year old Micron...well after warranty has run out, and with most of the Micron parts replaced (LOL)!
Never owned a CPQ, but my neighbor does and she's pleased with it. Not as much a power user as I am (and I am not a real power user...but I do use it more than the average Joe), but she's got her kids beating the hell out of it (which is what will happen to mine - even though we're giving them the old Micron).
