PT,

Many of the small factor corporate PCs don't even have a CPU fan, just a large heatsink. A moderately clocked (800 MHz) Morgan or Palomino with PowerNow would be ideal candidates for such machines - if AMD didn't intentionally decide to shoot itself in the foot by witholding PowerNow from desktop.

The power consumption of K6 is very reasonable compared to high speed Athlons, so it is possible that it made it into such machines in the past.

As far as small form factor computers, and size of the CPU, socket A is not really an issue (vs. mobile size), just the size of the heatsink / fan required to cool it.
