>> "a lot of potential"

Sorry -- I didn't get back to you last night...

I'm looking into a company called "Drillers Technologies" it trades on the TSE:DLR -- Tesco holds 22% equity interest in this newly formed company (June 2000) Tessari is on the board.

To answer your question about "potential" you can probably track the performance of DLR. DLR uses only Tesco products, all rigs are equipped with Tesco hydraulic top drives units.

At the moment they have seven rigs working at full utilisation, rig number 8 will be online next month. DLRs goal is to have a drilling company that comprises 25 rigs, at the expansion rate of 4 rigs per year.

DLR also has exclusive rights to the Casing Drilling Technology.

My translation of all this is that Tesco found the perfect vehicle to test and showcase their product line while spreading some of the risk to the shareholder.

These guys are smart...

Anyway, I'm long on Tesco, have been for about a year and a half. I don't hold any DLR; -- I'm still in the research mode on that one.

Regards
